Laser Hair Removal Machines

Which One Is Best

Laser hair removal machines are now so popular, this is because of the upsurge in cosmetic procedures, and also how beauticians emphasis on cleanliness of the face and other parts of the body.

Hair removal is now the second most preformed cosmetic procedure, and now many dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons and laser hair manufacturers have been approved by the FDA since 1995.

Laser hair removal is a new way to remove unwanted hair growing on our body. It destroys the hair growing ability of the hair follicles targeting them with extreme light intensity and this has proven to be most effective.

Use Only FDA Approved Lasers

There is an increasing demand for laser hair removal techniques, so with that, more and more laser removal machines are being made to be able to attend to the increasing demand for the product. For laser hair removal machines to be sold there has to be the FDA stamp of approval.

Since the inception of the development of the first laser hair removal machine which received FDA approval in 1995, more machines have been made.

Though the original machine soon developed problems and proved to be ineffective. It was concluded that it was because it had been put in the market without a thorough test.

The machine was advertised as a permanent and painless hair removal method, but could not meet up with its claims. It was subject to criticism and scrutiny and was subject to class action suit because of its inaccurate claims but soon afterwards the suit was settled.

Alexandrite Laser

The current laser hair removal machine, the Alexandrite laser operates by aiming a long pulse of laser light into the sub dermal skin; this is the skin that holds the hair follicle.

The heat produced from the Alexandrite laser damages the hair follicle which is active, so this stops the hair from developing.

Another laser is the Diode lasers; they are also hair removal machines. They are constructed of semi conductors and arranges in a way to produce light.

The construction means that it can create a wave length of laser light energy. This is effective in treating dark complexioned people for hair removal.

Q-Switched YAG Laser

For strong penetrations, that will affect deep hair follicles, some dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons prefer the Q-switched: YAG laser, this is because it produces two light waves of varying lengths. It makes use of infrared light, for the follicles close to the skin surface and green light.

There are other lasers and they all have different purposes. The pro laser is inexpensive, flexible and safe also is the ruby lasers. This laser uses a short pulse that will target dark pigments in hair follicle.

Though laser hair removal is efficient; one factor that ensures the successful laser hair removal is the skill of the person who administers it.

Also the availability of the machines he has to work with also matters in order for him to meet the needs of every desired client.
